Two barristers appointed as assistants to the Reviewer

Mr McCullough’s request for two assistants, nominated by him after discussion with the Advisory Group, has been approved by the Chief Constable.

London-based barristers Matthew Hill and Rajkiran Arhestey have been appointed as Assistants to the Review from September 2024. Following a scoping exercise in June and July the substantive work of the review is now well under way.

The Call for Evidence closes at 5pm on Friday 18 October 2024. It is expected that an update on the progress and future timing of the review will be issued at the end of the year.
